Two of my favorite DJs/Producers have teamed up to create some bangin' new, old-school, disco-inspired tracks. Duck Sauce are A-Trak (former DMC champion and electro hip-hop house head) and legendary NYC DJ & Producer, Armand Van Helden. Their album was supposed to come out this week and I had hoped to bang out a few of the tracks for Tryst, this Friday October 16th.
If you don't know already, Tryst is a monthly night I do over at Bellissima in Midtown Atlanta. I rock out some of the best house, disco, and electro (bmore, bangin', etc.) hits you can hear in this city.
Alas, the release of the nu disco, club anthems is delayed until the end of the month (just in time for Halloween & Pride, here in Atlanta). However, I do have one track off of the forthcoming album that I'm gonna play for you all. Let's just say, you'll feel all NAAAASTY just dancing to it. And I've got loads of other great tracks to pull out from A-Trak and Armand, individually.
