Videos of Festival: Arriving into Manchester & Ulverston

We took lots of video during our trip to the NKT Summer Festival in England and didn't have much access to internet. So just sorting through them now. These two videos capture the general flood of Kadampas that hit England on the first day of the Festival. Most are from the States and just arriving in Manchester. We then take the train 2 hours north to Ulverston. We are all very tired, having just been on an overnight flight, but excited to be arriving at Festival.

In this video we have flooded the platform at the Manchester Train Station. When the train arrived, we were literally piling suitcases and bags in every available space. The poor locals on the way into Manchester who tried to board the train didn't know what was going on. We had filled every seat and all the entrances were packed with bags. But it all worked just fine in the end.

In this video, we've all just arrived in Ulverston and are awaiting taxis to get us the few miles to Manjushri Center, the site of the festival. The taxis in Ulverston get a boon of business when the Kadampas arrive for these 2 weeks.

Loads of more videos from Festival life to come....
